MBug has really been into shapes lately. It seems like everywhere we go, she identifies the shapes she sees. So last night, I cut up some pumpkins and shapes out of felt and created this simple shape pumpkin activity for her.
Here are just a couple shots of her in action. She enjoyed this activity tremendously, placing each shape on saying, “triangle eye, triangle eye, triangle nose, etc.”
I only did these three shapes with her (circle, triangle and square) because I was out of orange felt, but you could totally adapt this and do so many more shapes!
I shared this activity at I Can Teach My Child.Like what you see? You can join This Reading Mama via RSS, Facebook, Twitter, or email! You can also follow me on Teachers Pay Teachers to receive updates when I post FREE, new downloads.
