I am a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for me to earn fees by linking to Amazon.com and affiliated sites.

If you teach little ones, you know that they LOVE dot paint! And if you’re working on letter sounds, you’ll love these NO PREP individual alphabet dot pages!

Besides the fact that kids get to use dot paint, I love that these pages are a SIMPLE way to help kids work on the alphabetic principle.

alphabet dot pages - does it start with a b example

Each page features ONE beginning letter sound*. Help learners name each picture and use dot paint to dot it as either 1- it begins with that letter or 2- it does not begin with that letter.

make alphabet dot pages reusable with transparent counters - This Reading Mama

One of my favorite tips is to use transparent counters. Learners can cover the pages over and over again. OR you can have learners work the page with transparent counters WITH YOU first and then they can work on the same page for independent work with the dot paint.

*4 Quick Notes about these Pages:

1- There are two pages included for q: q represented as just q and q presented as qu.

2- Letter x does not have an initial sound page, just an x in the final sound page. {In all my clip art, I only had 3 pictures for initial x and the sound it makes is not consistent.}

3- All vowel pages feature their short initial sound.

4- A picture key is included so you’ll know exactly what each picture represents.

    Hi I have subscribed several times but I’ve never received an email with your password. I am very interested in your preschool packs but can’t get anywhere on your site. Please advise. Thank you so much and thank you for all that you do to help make learning a fun adventure for all of our preschoolers.

      Hi Doree, My email service shows that emails are being sent your way. Is it possible that they’re going to your spam folder instead? Check there and see if that’s it. Another thing might be to check and see if you have any filters set up on that email to weed out emails like those sent from me. That’s a common problem as well when people don’t get my newsletter. Hope that helps some!
