Phonics by The Book: Unit 1 Expanded (Again!)

We’ve taken a break from the Phonics by The Book curriculum I’ve been writing for ALuv. (To see more about why I am writing it here.) This break was due mostly to the arrival of NSis.

But this past week, we were back at it!  And…I’ve decided to expand Unit 1 again.  There will now be EIGHT lessons in Unit 1 (short a, short e, short i, short o, short u, short vowel review, and TWO BOSSY r lessons: AR & OR!).  Can you tell I’m making this up perfecting this as I go? 🙂  We worked on the AR pattern this week with the story of Moses from Exodus 1-4.
