With Martin Luther King, Jr. Day approaching {and a certain 1st grader who could use some handwriting practice}, I decided to combine the two and create some Martin Luther King, Jr. Handwriting Pages for her.
While I was creating some print font pages for my 1st grader, I also created some D’Nealian font and cursive font ones, too {all FREE}!

FREE Martin Luther King, Jr. Handwriting Pages
My goal with these handwriting pages is two-fold: 1-to practice handwriting AND 2- teaching my daughter about Martin Luther King, Jr.’s message of hope, peace, and love.
In the pack, you’ll find 8 loose quotes of Martin Luther King, Jr. Please note that these are not exact quotes {as many of his exact quotes are copyrighted}, but learners can still learn about Martin Luther King, Jr.’s vision of equality for all mankind.
The idea is very simple. Learners read the sentence and then using their very best handwriting to copy the sentence onto the paper. It’s also helpful to talk about the meaning of words/terms like peace, character, or freedom ring. {I heavily stressed very best handwriting with my daughter, as she usually rushes through.}
The same 8 handwriting practice pages are not only in print font, but also in D’Nealian and cursive. Woohoo!
