If you teach K-5th grade, the After School Link Up {posted each Monday} is such a great source of ideas! It’s unlike most link ups out there because it is reserved for the Elementary-aged student. I enjoy looking through the ideas shared every week. This week was no exception. My eye landed particularly on these 4 ideas. When I read them, I seriously thought, “Man, I wish I had thought of that!” Here they are:
I love, love, love this idea from 123 Homeschool 4 Me. What a hands-on and creative way to get kids spelling! Plus, she has a freebie! đ
These Fall Do-a-Dot sets from The Gift of Curiosity are fun for any Kindergartner. I recommend them highly, especially for reluctant learners.
Toss those flash cards when teaching doubles and use dominoes instead! Creative Family Fun even shares a modification you can make if you don’t have dominoes.
Relentlessly Fun, Deceptively Educational always has such fun activities. She’s one of my go-to blogs. Her Fall Leaves BINGO is no exception!
Itâs your turn to link up! We would love to have you link up your School-Age Post (Ages 5 and up) about your learning week after school time including Crafts,Activities, Playtime and Adventures that you are doing to enrich your childrenâs lives after their day at school, homeschool or on the weekend!   Â
Thanks so much Becky for featuring our shaving cream spelling mats =) My kids always ooh and ahh when they see what color comes through when they spell. It’s the simple things, right!
Well, it is an absolutely BRILLIANT idea! A little jealous that I didn’t think of it myself đ
