Short Vowel Sorting with Snow!
This pack contains TWO levels of sorting fun: 1- simple, CVC short vowel words like rat, hug, & men and 2- longer short vowel words (CCVC and CVCC patterns) like jump, best, and chat. You pick the one that would work best for your child. Since I knew that ALuv was ready for the challenge, we went with Level 2.
In this FREE activity {download at the end of this post}, you cut apart the snow clouds, containing vowels, as seen below:
Then sort the snowflakes under the correct clouds. You can stick with just level 1 words:
OR try level 2 words, like we did.
Another option is to mix level 1 and level 2 words. Still one more option is to use the blank snowflake cards and write your own words for your child. 🙂
