We have 7 children of varying ages, so what I do is different with each child. My youngest is about to turn 3. She loves to make crafts, read and go to the park to go down the “WEEE” (slide). My older daughters (ages 20 & 18) are artsy (like me) so we enjoy going to museums, plays, performances, etc. My 15 year old son loves to play chess, video games and do outdoorsy things. My step daughters (ages 12 & 14) like crafts and going put putting. My step son is 21 and not around much, but when he is we play video games.

As much as we possibly can. We paint, garden, do arts and crafts, have popcorn and movie nights, build forts, etc. I am constantly looking on Pinterest and other websites or blogs that I subscribe to for new ideas to have fun with my kids. I like to not only engage their interests, but their minds as well, as much as possible. I would love to see what ideas are in the book.

I have twins with autism. Fun is a constant activity at my house. The more fun we have in EVERYTHING we do, the more engaged and interested they are. Yes, it is exhausting, but they are definitely worth it.
