A big “THANK YOU” goes to Masaru of www.christiancliparts.net for drawing up 5 new pictures for this book!
The lesson comes with a 5-day outline. Feel free to pick and choose the activities you’d like to use with your child. Please do not feel obligated to do every single one. We certainly don’t every time. The activities work well together, but are just as effective in teaching your child if done separately.
Some of the activities included in the pack:

I look forward to your suggestions and input. I have a child who loves to read and one who likes to read. The biggest issue is the “likes” is having difficulty with spelling and can not (NOT) here the phonics of words. I am trying different things, but memorization is the main thing.
I taught ABeka so I was taught the correct pronunciation of sounds, and she still is struggling. I need to spend more time with my struggling one but need to make it “worth” her while.
Homeschooling has been a joy, except for this.
I’d like to hear more about your “likes” to child. How does she do with spelling?
She is a lousy speller. I have tried everything. I have worked with her on phonics and sounds. She is a pretty good reader, but can not decipher some words. She is better with large words, which is very frustrating when reading. When we spend lots of time working on words and the spelling, she memorizes these but then we can review later and can’t spell most of them later.
I am lost.
